How to use the MP4 to MP3 Converter
- Choose an MP4 video file stored on your phone, tablet or computer.
- The browser loads the local WebAssembly conversion engine only when needed.
- The selected MP4 is read locally inside the browser environment.
- The video track is excluded and the audio is encoded as an MP3 file.
- When conversion finishes, the browser creates a temporary local file URL for the resulting MP3.
- Select Save MP3 to device to save the converted audio.
- The tool intentionally does not accept remote video URLs or download online media.

The converter is designed to process the selected MP4 locally in your browser and does not intentionally upload the media to QuickToolCenter for conversion.
Can I paste a YouTube URL?
No. The tool accepts local MP4 files only and intentionally does not provide YouTube or remote-media downloading.
Why is there a file-size limit?
Browser-based video conversion uses device memory and CPU. The limit helps reduce crashes, especially on phones and lower-memory devices.
What MP3 bitrate is used?
The converter currently encodes MP3 audio at approximately 192 kbps.
Can I convert copyrighted media?
Use only media that you own, created yourself, have permission to process, or are otherwise legally authorized to use.
Does conversion use my computer or phone processor?
Yes. WebAssembly conversion runs on the user's device, so conversion speed depends on the browser, processor, memory and video length.
