Strong PDF compression rebuilds pages as images. This can reduce file size substantially but may remove selectable text, forms, links and other interactive PDF features.
How to use the Compress PDF to Target Size

- Enter a target maximum size in KB or use a preset.
- Start compression.
- Download the result and check the achieved file size.
Examples
500 KB portal limit
Set the target to 500 KB when a website requires a PDF no larger than that amount.
100 KB document
Try a 100 KB target for a small single-page document where strong compression is acceptable.
Frequently asked questions
Can every PDF reach an exact target size?
No. Large, scanned or multi-page documents may not be able to reach very small targets while remaining usable.
Is the PDF sent to your server?
No. This version performs the compression in your browser.
